What are the flowers for?
Talk about funny. First time in 31 years two things happened at once!
I jumped out of bed at 5.30 am (this is very serious) and made the man breakfast in bed (scrambled eggs and mushrooms) and we both forgot it was our 31st anniversary!
This has never happened before.
At lunch time I was startled as I was experimenting with gelatine (for tiles silly~) to see a huge bunch of flowers coming up the stairs followed by hubby. I said, "what are they for" (secretly thinking, gosh I should make breakfast every morning...those of you who know me know my cooking leaves a lot to be desired...)....flowers seemed a bit extreme for scrambled eggs....and then he said "happy anniversary".....
I felt thrilled to think he did that and bad to think I forgot.....but even funnier was that he thought later on that the breakfast was my anniversary gift to him and that I wasn't saying anything because I wanted him to remember without being reminded.......
I know, stop while I am ahead!
Annoying today were computer hassles, covering the kitchen and me in gelatine and trying to work on a commission...which is now starting to look good...I finally selected the grout colour.
This commission only has two colours, gold and shimmering blue and I have taken months to determine the final grout colour and it's a gorgeous ocean blue. I adore it....
It finally has me keen to finish the work.
Back to the school tomorrow to do more on the mermaid mural and egdges of big murals.
Just have to say the people at the school are wonderful to me and I love going there.
If anyone actually reads this post, yes I probably am suffering from mosaic madness this month.
The builder came yesterday and hopefully new studio within a month...or at least something. I am overflowing with ideas for making my own tables for the students out of my OzBoard....most people around me don't understand...LOL..
I had fun discussing my new web page layout, which will be up soon and finally I have the wording I want...stay tuned to see it soon.
I would love you to comment on this site and I actually have no idea how blogs work, but thought it was a rather fun idea.
